A festive opening for the "Hayotzrim" exhibition, an initiative that was born in the heart of the COVID pandemic at the Center for Young Men and Women in Sderot. Ilanit Suissa, who conceived the project, moderated a group of writers in a lengthy writing workshop. At the end of the workshop, the writers chose a song or two of their own, which were given to composers from a variety of different fields, and they created inspired by the song they received a piece, music, or dance, thus giving a further interpretation of the chosen song. The works have been combined into a multidisciplinary exhibition that will be premiered during the festival and will continue to travel around the city throughout the year.
All the diverse artists are residents of the city of Sderot.
