Kirk Docker, creator of the TV show "You Can't Ask That" never imagined how successful and globally acclaimed the format would be, but he knew a thing or two about people and humanity, sincerity and openness. And he primarily knew how to ask the right questions, the ones that one can't ask. Docker, guest of honor of the Cinema South Festival and the Format Development Lab at Sapir College will talk about the creative and development processes of the format, the anchors of which have become a cultural icon. He will be joined by Adi Levi, director and editor of the Israeli version of the popular and reputed show.
How do you find the participants and why do they agree to take part? How are the questions chosen and what must one not ask? And what does it take to adapt a format that is produced in dozens of countries?
