Sapir's Center for Practical Engineers established in 1984 is one of Israel's largest professional training centers in the field of media, film and communications. Sapir's Film and Television Practical Engineering Program enjoys the academic and professional support of the School of Audio & Visual Arts in film and television studies.

Our program trains a skilled and professional workforce in all aspects of production and creation for film and TV. The innovative curriculum combines theoretical and practical studies in a variety of technical and artistic subjects; together with production workshops in television and filmmaking: documentaries, dramas, studio productions, video clips and more. Sapir's School of Audio & Visual Arts is equipped with the most up-to-date professional filming and editing systems; a sophisticated TV studio, animation studio, 30 editing studios, sound studios; lighting systems; film and video cameras; stills and multimedia labs. This high-quality equipment enables program participants to work with and experience high-standard professional productions from their first year.

Joint BFA Program: Students can choose to study in an integrated program with the College and earn academic credits for their Audio & Visual Arts BFA degrees. The joint Film and Television Practical Engineering Program diploma with the BFA academic degree offers a wide variety of job options.
