Call For Entries- The DocoCast Prize - June 2025
The DocoCast Prize offers an exciting opportunity for Israeli audiovisual professionals with experience as content creators (blogging, podcasting, or other sound-based creative projects) to participate in the prestigious "Sound Documentary International Intensive Summer Program" at the École Nationale Supérieure Louis-Lumière in Paris, France. The program will run from 11 July to 31 August 2025.
The selected Israeli winner will join a cohort of 11 international audiovisual professionals, who will spend 7 weeks immersed in the French radio ecosystem. Participants will learn the art of writing and producing radio documentaries in a country that has been a pioneer in the genre.
This exclusive prize, valued at 4,770 euros, is awarded by the French Institute in Israel, in collaboration with the École Nationale Supérieure Louis-Lumière (ENS Louis-Lumière), the Cinema South Festival, and the French Ministry of European and International Affairs, with the support of the Fondation Jacqueline de Romilly under the umbrella of the Fondation de France.
Who can apply?
• Audiovisual Professionals: Applicants must have experience as content creators in the audiovisual field, including but not limited to blogging, podcasting, or other creative projects that involve sound.
• Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 25 years old.
• Citizenship: Only Israeli citizens are eligible to apply. Applicants with dual Israeli and French citizenship are not eligible.
