Call For Entries - Studio Darom - June 2025

Studio Darom is a 5-day workshop, dedicated to debut Israeli directors and producers who are working on their first or second feature-length film. This unique platform for new, aspiring filmmakers is the initiative of Cinema South Festival and the School of Audio-Visual Arts at Sapir College, in association with the Produire Au Sud program at 3continents Film Festival in Nantes, France, the French Institute in Tel Aviv, Mifal Hapais, the Negev Film Fund, the Rabinovich Foundation and the Israeli Ministry of Culture and Sports,  Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

With top industry figures as the mentors for the teams of directors-producers, Studio Darom aims to bring aspiring Israeli filmmakers into the center of the European film industry, and train them to achieve successful international co-productions.

Studio Darom peaks each year with a special pitch event, in which the participants pitch their projects to Israeli and international producers and distributors.

This year we will celebrate the tenth anniversary of Studio Darom.
