Cinema South Festival invites filmmakers to submit their film in diverse genres:
fiction, documentary, hybrid, experimental, animation and others, to the Festival that will take place between the 19-26 of June of 2025.

Cinema South Festival is one of Israel’s five biggest and long-standing film festivals. For the past 23 years, CSF has hosted hundreds of filmmakers from Israel and overseas.

CSF is a major cultural event in the south of Israel, functioning simultaneously as a very local event, showcasing a wide range of point-of-views of the local southern story, and also a global platform, dealing with topics of the social margins, what we refer to as a “Global South”.

The festival is in constant search for films bearing a clear, unique, visual signature, a rich and original cinematic story, a bold and challenging cinematic language.

We invite you to submit your films to the Festival in accordance with the regulations on the website.

Who can submit?

• Film starting from 60 min.
• Films completed during 2024-2025.
• Films that have been screened or broadcasted (or that are scheduled to be screened or broadcasted) on Israeli Tv or VOD archives, are NOT eligible for submission.

The application must be submitted via the electronic registration form in English and signed by the applicant on the Festival website (via the electronic form) with a link to a screener the film (if the film is not complete, a rough-cut version will be submitted).

** The Festival board is authorized, at its discretion and at any time, to disqualify the application of any film whereby the details on the registration form are incomplete and/or incorrect and/or the applicant did not comply with an undertaking above and/or according to the program regulations.
