Family Mediterranean Fever
Israel | 2007 | 31 min. | Hebrew, English | English and Hebrew Sub | Documentary
The Lavi family lives in Sderot, a small town located on the Israel - Gaza Strip border. In 1979, the parents, Ruth and Avner, moved to the town from Rehovot, and their three children were born and grew up there. The firing of Kassam rockets on Sderot, the chronic illness contracted by the father, and the departure of the youngest son to study abroad changed the life of the Lavi family beyond recognition, forcing them to cope with a new and alien reality.
