How does a film student become a filmmaker? Must one move to the big city? What does one have to know and whom? What does it take to make that first film and even the second? (which is much harder). Elad Peleg and Haggai Arad from Daroma Productions will try to answer these questions, to provide hope, motivation and tools to overcome obstacles and mainly help begin the grueling, but oh so fascinating journey into the world of cinema.
Daroma Productions was founded and operates from the south. In the 10 years since its establishment it has produced documentary and feature films that are broadcast and screened locally and around the world. In 2019 the company produced "A Whore like Me", that won the Ophir Award for Best Documentary and the blockbuster parody "Mossad".
