Behind "Get the Land Back"
Tuesday | 12.11.2024 | 14:00-15:30 | Cinematheque - Hall 2
Mentoring workshop with Elad Orenstein and Irmy Shik Blum, graduates of the Department of Sound and Screen Arts at Sapir College and creators of "Grandma's Acre", winner of the Ophir Award for Best Documentary, 2024 | Winner of the directing award, DokAviv, 2024.
A film workshop, which, like the film "Grandma's Acre", will reveal in a humorous and fast-paced way the work processes behind its making. During the workshop, scenes left on the floor of the editing room will be shown, and will be accompanied by a conversation about the development of the film's cinematic language, the difficulties, the moments of grace, up to the final result and the meeting with the audience.
There will also be an open and intimate discussion in which the audience will be invited to share ideas and deliberations from projects. Elad and Irmy will try to help with the questions that arise, and provide practical tools for moving ahead with the works in formation.
