The documentary pitching for students at the Cinema South Festival marks 19 years since its establishment!
The project, founded by Osnat Trabelsi and produced by the Israel Documentary Forum and the Cinema South Festival, promotes young filmmakers and their integration into the film and television industry in the documentary field. It includes projects from all the film schools in Israel, and the young filmmakers undergo preparation and guidance for the pitching.
As part of the event, documentary projects in the process of production will be presented in front of a committee of lectors, made up of representatives from broadcasters and cinema funds. The outstanding projects will receive production grants of tens of thousands of shekels, courtesy of the Gesher Fund for Multicultural Cinema and Kan - the Public Broadcasting Corporation.
