Fata Morgana

“Fata Morgana" is a joint animation project of the Negev Cinema Foundation and the Gesher Foundation for Multicultural Cinema in partnership with the Cinema South Festival and the Animation Guild of Israel, which will present the yield of its first years at the festival and will also select, as part of a pitching event, the new projects for 2024. The project began in 2021 with the aim of putting animation at the heart of artistic activity in the south and bringing stories, characters, and landscapes from the south of the country. The selected projects are accompanied by the filmmakers and animators. This year, as part of the pitching event at the festival, six fascinating new projects will be presented, three of which will receive production grants in the amount of NIS 100,000, as well as professional accompaniment throughout the production process.
