Launch of the public appeal for the "DocoCast" award

Tuesday | 12/11/2024 | 16:00-17:30 | Cinematheque - Hall 2

This is the second year of the collaboration between the Cinema South Festival and the French Institute, in which one filmmaker will win the "DocoCast" award. The ENS Louis Lumière intensive international summer program for audio documentation in France, established in 2021, is a rare opportunity for creators to specialize in the field of documentary filmmaking in the country that is a pioneer of the genre.

The prize for participation in the program is awarded by the French Institute in Israel in collaboration with ENS Louis Lumière, the Cinema South Festival and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the support of the Fondation Jacqueline de Romilly, under the auspices of the Fondation de France.
At the event the public appeal will be launched, and the films produced at the last summer program will be screened.
