Israel's reputation for technological innovation has created a rising demand for trained specialists. Sapir's Center of Practical Engineering, established in 1984, trains a wide range of practical engineers, who contribute to the industrial development of Israel. We offer a broad selection of government certified Practical Engineer Diplomas in 10 departments, including: Architecture and Interior Design; Biotech; Civil Engineering; Electrical; Water Technology; Mechanics/Mechatronics; Autotech; Media Design; Sound and Recording.
The Center is an innovative and agile organization that maintains ongoing contact with a variety of industries to meet their rapidly evolving needs. We regularly update courses and invest in equipment that reflect technological advancements. Students enjoy the best lecturers, high-level training and innovative teaching materials that equip them with lifelong learning tools to meet the constant changes in industrial practices. The Center of Practical Engineering is located on Sapir's campus, the largest public college in Israel. In addition, students have a unique option of studying for a college education together with their practical engineer training. This offers our students both a government certified Practical Engineer diploma and a B.A. degree, advancing their job prospects and career development.
