Gadi Demer, unemployed and broken hearted, returns to his childhood kibbutz to put his head at home and rest. He discovers a completely different place than he knew. The kibbutz won't give him an apartment and Gadi struggles to find his own place. When he fails, he drowns his sorrows in beer and from a vortex of sadness finds enlightenment.
