Tel Aviv, 1952. Ruti is a Holocaust survivor, a bartender, and single (slightly disgruntled). Her life changes when Yanku, an old friend, showed up at the bar. Yanku is obsessed with Betty, his old girlfriend - and Ruti's friend. Ruti promises him that she'll help him to find her. The problem starts when she wants to keep him to herself...
