On a planet that has reverse gravity, only a few creatures live, roaming around in hopes of relieving their loneliness.
The story focuses on an adult creature who finds an embryo and raises it to a baby and eventually a child. the relationship between them tightens until the older person reaches the end of his days and his grip on the ground weakens. What will the child do once his guardian becomes a shining star of the night?
